Foundation for a democratic system and goal of progress in social, political and economic sectors

SUKKUR: The Opposition Leader in National Assembly (NA), Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah has said that educated society is the foundation for a democratic system and the goal of progress in social, political and economic sectors will remain vague unless education sector is given top priority.
He urged the students to work hard and strengthen the country.He was addressing the laptop distribution ceremony among talented and position holder students of Sukkur Institite of Business Administration (Suk-IBA) under the Talent Hunt Programme here at Sukkur IBA on Thursday.
Teh Opposition leader in NA advised the students to avail benefits of these laptops to improve their knowledge as the computers would help them call upon a complete library, bringing revolutionary changes in their studies and knowledge, essential to meet educational demands to excel in the world for national dignity.
He said the progress, stability and educational revolution in the country could be brought about only through education.
Director Sukkur IBA Nisar Ahmed Siddiqui, educationists, heads of the different departments and a large number of students also attended the ceremony.
He said that the students are the cream of nation and they should strive their best for promoting positive changes in the society. He said if appropriate path was given to the young generation, our youth could bring the country to the forefront of developed countries within a short span of time.
Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah congratulated talented students for getting laptops on merit due to hard work. He said that besides hard work of the students for getting laptops on merit, the role of teachers and parents is equally important for providing resources and education to their children.
Director Sukkur IBA Nisar Ahmed Siddiqui said that  competitions started were among all 300 THP students on section levels adding that the purpose of awarding them such precious gifts was to create a healthy competitions and create an enthusiasm among student of the Sukkur IBA.
he said that his institute was paying attention to impart higher education with quality and conducting research as it was the need of hour.
He said that youth is future, vision, hope and beyond it adding that if the youths were educated and trained; they would bring the change in the society.
