FOOD MINISTER TAKES NOTICE OF PROVINCIAL MINISTER ALI MARDAN SHAH’S COMPLAINT

KARACHI: Provincial food minister jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar, while taking serious notice of complaint of wheat bags found short in measure at Chhachhro godown, has ordered food department team to submit its report within 24 hours, beside this action is also being taken against officials involved in this corruption. It is to mention here that provincial minister Ali Mardan Shah paid a surprised visit to Chhachhro wheat centre yesterday and found certain wheat bags short in measure, provided by sindh relief department. Over the complain of provincial minister Ali Mardan Shah, food minister Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar immediately sent an special team of food department to chhachhro to look into the matter. The said team worked whole night and found 55 wheat bags short in measure and 25 wheat bags physically missing, they were transported from Khipro. Having investigated , the special team of food department found ,Hussain Bux Magsi Khipro centre in charge guilty in this regard and recommended that more action to be taken against him.
Food minister Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has directed to secretary food and director food to take action against food department officials who are involved in this incident and wheat must be weighed at all centre properly in order to avoid any mal-administration ‘the said wheat is bound for poor people of Thar an no one will be allowed to make mess with it ‘he concluded.

ELECTION SCHEDULE FOR ONE SEAT OF BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION KARACHI ANNOUNCED

The Secretary, Board of Secondary Education, Karachi Mrs Hoor Mazhar has announced the schedule for Election 2014 to be conducted for one seat of Head of the Recognized Secondary Schools of Karachi Region for the next term of two years on the Board of Governors.
According to schedule, objection and receipt of claims for entry in the tentative voter’s list displayed in Room No. 39, will be invited till 2nd September 2014 (excluding Saturday/Sunday); the Scrutiny of objections and claims will be held from 3rd to 5thSeptember, 2014 (Wednesday to Friday);the final list of voters on the basis of correction will be prepared from 8th to 12th September, 2014 (Monday to Friday). The final list of voters will be displayed in Room No.39 on 15th September, 2014 (Monday). She informed that the Nomination Paper will be issued from 16th to 18th September, 2014 (Tuesday to Thursday); Nomination Papers will be received from 19th & 22nd September, 2014 (Friday and Monday excluding Saturday/Sunday) from 10.00 AM to 03.00 PM, scrutiny of Nomination papers will be held on 23rd September, 2014 (Tuesday), nomination papers may be withdrawn on 24th September, 2014 (Wednesday), list of contestants will be prepared on 25th September, 2014 (Thursday); final list of contestants will be displayed in Room No.39 on 26th September, 2014 (Friday at 10.30 AM); meeting with the contestants will be held on 29th September, 2014 (Monday at 03.00 PM);pre-election arrangements on 30th September, 2014 (Tuesday) & 1st October, 2014 (Wednesday); election (if contested) will be held on 2nd October, 2014 (Thursday) from 10.00 AM to 03.30 PM; counting of the votes will be held immediately after the close of polling and declaration of result immediately after the close of counting of votes.

54 EXCISE INSPECTORS PROMOTED AS ASSISTANT EXCISE & TAXATION OFFICERS
