Five ‘target killers’ arrested in Karachi: Police Chief

KARACHI: Additional IG Police, Ghullam Qadir Thebo claims, the police has apprehended five target killers involved the murders of over a dozen citizens in the metropolis.

Speaking to the media, Thebo said the five criminals had been apprehended by the Central Zone and the West Zone police, adding that those detained are affiliated with banned organizations and political parties.

The AIGP told journalists that the criminals were also wanted in the murder of an intelligence officer Qamar Abbas and his son.

Thebo further added, that an employee of NED University and a doctor have been detained for questioning in connection with Dr. Shakeel Auj’s murder. He was hopeful that those involved will be apprehended soon.
