BHAKKAR: At least five persons died and 30 others injured as a passenger bus turned down near Jehan Khan Adda some 15 km from here.
According to details, a private passenger bus was going from Multan to Dera Ismail Khan when it turned over while escaping a motorcyclist. The Assistant Commissioner, Police officers, Medical and para medical staff reached at the site and with the help of Rescue 1122 shifted the bodies and injured persons to DHQ Hospital, Bhakkar.
The passengers who died were identified as Sajda Bibi 22 years, Azhar Ali 3, Samya 2, Asad 12 and Mehmood ul Hassan 65. Three seriously injured passengers named as Hazoor Baksh 55, Noman 10 and Abdul Aziz 50 were referred to Nishtar Medical Hospital Multan.
