BADIN: Pakistan Fisher Folk Forum (PFF) has staged protest rally against acute shortage of irrigation water in Nindo City. The rally commenced from Main Khoski road Nindo city & concluded at Nindo Press Club. The people from various walk of lives participated in the rally including workers of FPP, peasants, students & representatives of Civil Society.
While addressing the protesters of the rally representatives of Pakistan Fisher Folk Forum including Mithan Mallah, Muhammad Mallah, Muhammad Yaseen Tunio, Abida Jamali, Sajan Shaikh, and Ashfaque Khaskheli & others said that water shortage in various canals like Ali Canal, Bahadur Canal, Karo Canal of Nindo & Sanhi Ghoni, Raj Wah, Noor Wah, Garho Minor & Meer Wah of UC Bhugra Memon is being done & crops of the poorest farmers are perishing. They demanded for immediate release of the irrigation water for district Badin.
