ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Faisal Raza Abidi has said that he would resign as senator after making a final fiery speech in the Senate today (Thursday).
Speaking to media here, Abidi said he would clearly discuss all issues in the Senate session and would make a fiery speech. “I will resign after it,” he said.
Abidi disclosed that he had been issued seven show-case notices by the PPP and had met former President Asif Ali Zardari last April.
The PPP on Wednesday demanded Faisal Raza Abidi to tender resignation from his Senate membership over violation of party policy.
