LARKANA: A boy drowned in Dodai minor near Larkana here on Monday.
According to details, villagers found dead body of boy in Dodai minor in the jurisdiction of Mahota Police Station Larkana and the dead body was brought at CMC Hospital for medico legal formalities.
Later dead body was identified as 11 year old Saeed Ahmed son of Abdul Hameed Jagirani resident of Cattle colony Larkana, who was missing since a day before and had gone out to deliver the lunch box to his father, mysteriously his drowned body was found from Dodai Shakh (Minor).
The relatives of deceased demanded of high ups to conduct the impartial investigation of incident.

LARKANA: The residents of different villagers of Union Council Khabar Taluka Miro Khan district Kamber Shahdadkot by carrying the holy book staged protest and demonstration during scorching heat in front of Executive Engineer irrigation Department Warah Division at Larkana against the irrigational water theft and damaging of Shori Shaikh at RD 52 by influential person here on Monday.
The protesting growers were belonging from different villages among village Khairo Gadahi, village Saffar Khoso, village Faiz Muhammad Soomro, Kori Wandh and other villages of Taluka Miro Khan district Kamber Shahdadkot.
They told media men that 70 to 80 armed men on behest of influential person attacked on Shori Shakh Regulator at RD 52 and badly damaged the infrastructure of irrigation, but despite of that concerned officials are reluctant to take action against the accused.
Villagers told that samplings of Paddy are under the drought, there is acute shortage of irrigational water, added that thousands acre fertile land of tale end farming community have turned into the barren due to scarcity of water, influential persons are diverting the flow of water to their areas to cultivate their lands and such trend of water theft has made lives of poor growers miserable they told.
They appealed to Chief Justice Supreme Court of Pakistan, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah, provincial minister for irrigation and other high ups to take notice of matter, arrest influential person who are involved in water theft and ensure the supply of irrigation water in time for cultivation paddy crop.

LARKANA: Sindh Education Foundation Larkana organized a contract awarding ceremony to new entrepreneurs here at local hotel Larkana for opening of 265 PPRS Schools (Promoting Private Schooling in Rural Sindh phase 4 in 10 districts of Sindh.
On the occasion Deputy Director Marketing Advocacy and Publication Nisar Banbhan, Deputy Director Regions Rustam Ali Samejo, Mukhtiar Chandio head of Promoting Private Schooling in Rural Sindh PPRS, SEF Head in Larkana region Naheed Abbasi and others addressed and apprised the public by presentations.
They said that PPRS is multi dimensional challenge to deliver quality and comprehensive knowledge and education to underprivileged children by these Schools, adding that SEF is committed to promote and project the private schooling in Sindh and increase literacy rate.
They said that we should ensure the educational quality across our diversified portfolio of programs and projects through extending professional development opportunities to multiple schools stakeholders as well as by undertaking qualitative and quantitative research and monitoring study the impacts of our interventions.
They said that Sindh Education Foundation is enhancing education access by 2346 Schools, 370079 students and 8972 teachers rendering their services in sindh.
