DADU JOURNALISTS PROTEST, SIT IN AGAINST POLICE FOR HARASSING REPORTER

DADU: The journalists of Dadu led by Fatah Shaik and  Ashfaq Malik along with civil society leaders Allah Bachayo Inqilabi, Abbas Vighio and others held protest demonstration and observed sit in before press club to protest  against the high handedness and harassment of senior journalist and district reporter of daily Messenger Ashfaq Ahmed Malik by A section police Dadu which had filed a false case against him and a raid on shop of his brothers where the police committed loot and plunder.

SHO A section Dadu Suleman Bhutto and ASI Umer Vighyo were threatening the journalists of Dadu for writing true stories of police failure rather complicity with criminalsr. The police deprived brothers of Ashfaq Malik of mobile phone and other valuables from their shops. Police has also threatened Dadu journalists of false encounter.

Meanwhile Hyderabad Union of Journalists, Sindh chapter of Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists has condemned high handedness of police and Hesco staff against Dadu journalists. In a joint statement president of HUJ Farhan Afendi and general secretary Ghulam Abbas Kassar have demanded from  DIG Hyderabad to take notice of increasing crime in Dadu and police violence against journalists and demanded removal of SHO Suleman Bhutto and ASI Umer Vighio.
