ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Anwar Zaheer Jamali on Thursday has ordered the Human Rights Cell of the Supreme Court (SC) to ensure proper and timely compliance of the court directions.
According to the details, CJP was chairing a meeting to review performance of the cell during the last six months in Islamabad.
Applications include overseas Pakistanis complaints regarding delay in issuance of machine-readable passports, illegal dispossession of properties, usurpation of inherited properties, lack of qualified professional legal advice, and fraud, meeting informed.
Meeting was further informed that the Cell received average 2500 applications every month.
