CEAD VOCATIONAL TRAINING PROGRAM TRAINEES RECEIVE CHEQUES

HYDERABAD (Jamshoro):
The Director of Centre of Excellence in Arts and Design (CEAD) Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) Jamshoro Dr. Bhai Khan Shar has said that there is dearth of talent amongst the youngsters of the nation if opportunities are provided they can excel in every field. He was speaking on the occasion of 2nd Vocational Training Program at CEAD.
He said that in coordination with National Vocational Training Program CEAD is training unemployed youth in the Engineering and Arts fields of AutoCAD, Textile Designing, Graphics Designing, Hand Loom Weaving, Glass Painting, Hardware and Networking, where as their two months performance has been extraordinary which is the sign of their bright future.
Dr. Shar said that the objective of such trainings is to explore the hidden talent and abilities of youth as they may be able to help themselves and their families financially rather than being over burden on them. Without relying on government jobs unemployed youth may be self employed by getting trained in different courses because such facility provides the opportunity to get rid of social crimes and social diseases, he said.
Dr. Bhai Khan Shar further said that National Vocational Training Program is the real opportunity for youth to fulfill their dreams of getting a valuable status in the society on basis of their technical expertise.
On the occasion Dr. Shar awarded each student the cheque of two thousand amongst 175 trainees and before Eid getting such stipends the students expressed the feelings of happiness and named it as Eid pocket money month cheques distribution ceremony of Prime Minister’s National Vocational Training Program at CEAD.

Women Action Forum along with civil society held protest demonstration here on Monday in front of press club against failure of police to arrest main accused persons in gang rape with women in Rasoolabad headed by chief minister who belongs to Khairpur district where this gory incident had taken place.
The participants condemned the shameless incident of Rasoolabad. The protest was led by professors Haseen Shah Musratl,Afrana Mallah and Amar Sindhu and participated by a large number of people led by Punhal Saryo, Parveen Soomro, Nazir Qureshi,Irshad Junejo and others.
They told media that nearly 2 months back a gang of 7 robbers intruded in home of Paryal Memon in Rasool town of Khairpur district and after looting the belongings they gang raped 4 women and fled away.
The civil society has been protesting against this incident that was scar on face of humanity but lamented that police has not moved to arrest the main culprits except 2.
They said that whole Sindh was in grip of crimes against humanity including rape with women, under age marriages, their kidnapping, girls’ sale and exchange for crimes of family members.
The chief minister Qaim Ali Shah was so non serious that most crimes were taking place in his district yet he was enjoying his power without caring about people. Due to Rasoolabad inident today the women were feeling vulnerable in their homes.
They demanded immediate arrest of culprits of Rasoolabad incident to provide feelings of protection to affected, all gang rape cases including this one be tried in anti terrorism court; to take action against those who patronize crimes.
They also asked media to refrain from posting and publishing photos of affected women to avoid social effects for them.

SNP TO LAUNCH MOVEMENT AGAINST PPO, INFLUX OF ALIENS AFTER EID

Sindh National Party has announced to launch movement against black law Pakistan Protection Ordinance, inlux of aliens in Sindh and their settlement, anti Sindh projects like Zulfiqarabad and struggle for recongnition of Sindhi language as one of Pakistan’s national language.
The decision to this effect was taken at central committee meeting of SNP held here Sunday at its office at Hyder Chowk.
Addressing the meeting chairman Amir Bhambhro said country was passing through critical period. The parliament was working as rubber stamp and since creation of Pakistan the establishment continues to rule. Due to wrong decisions of establishment and wrong policies of rulers the country had already been divided and faced Dacca debacle.
He said due to depriving Sindhis and Balochis of their rights feeling of deprivation has increased among the oppressed small nations which was dangerous for solidarity of country.
He said Tahir Qadri and Imran were working on pay roll of establishment.
People do not need revolution or Tsunami but they need two times meal.The meeting which also considered the arrangements of SNP Iftar dinner on 23rdJuly, was attended among others by Ashraf Noonari,Dilshad Bhutto, Ramzan Buledi,Dr. Uzma Jokhyo, Sain Bux Banglani, and others.
