HYDERABAD, Apr 20 (INP): A low intensity bomb blast left a main railway track partially damaged here on Monday morning.
According to Railway authorities , the explosion destroyed at least two feet long part of one of the rails and some length of a railroad-tie in Hussainabad, a low income residential area, causing suspension of up and down railway traffic for some time. However, no loss of life was reported.
According to bomb disposal squad around half a kilogram of explosives were used in the bomb.
The Railways authorities said that Tezgam Express and Business Trains have been red-signalled at the Hyderabad Railway station.
Police cordoned off the area and launched search operation.
