Billions of corruption in Public health schemes are still in doldrums

LARKANA:
Due to lack of Co-ordination between stake holders newly
constructed roads with cost of millions rupees were damaged and excavated in order to install sewerage pipelines in home city of Shaheed Zulifqar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.
During the survey conducted by this scribe it was learnt that Public Health Engineering Larkana has undertaken the task to execute the mega sewerage scheme worth of Rs 1130 million to streamline the failure drainage scheme in Larkana city, it has carried out the development work without hiring the services of consultants and started to dig out the newly constructed roads under Larkana Development Package at Rahmatpur road, Police head quarter road and others on pretext of installing the sewerage pipelines.
Prior to this, SSGC, SEPCO and PTCL few month back during up gradation of their service also damaged the road network at Lahori Muhammad, Shaikh zaid colony road, Sachal colony road and others due to apathy of district administration During the meeting of Sindh Peoples Development committee (SPDC)
Larkana it was strictly discussed and decided that no any company and organization will be allowed to dig the newly constructed roads under Larkana package, however meeting emphasized on all stake holders to submit 10 year proposed schemes in order to avoid the damaging of roads but concerned authorities failed to implement on their policies resulting newly built roads of millions rupees were inflicted damages few month after the construction which is
failure of district government as well as elected representatives
of Larkana to turned their eyes.
Citizens and representatives of civil society demanded of high ups to take serious notice of matter and constitute inquiry team and take stern action against involved officials.

TWO VILLAGERS KILLED IN CLASH

SHIKARPUR:
Two villagers were killed in an armed clash took place between two groups of Hotani tribesmen on matrimonial matter in village Hotani near Dakhan town some 30 kilometers from here in the jurisdiction of Dakhan Police Station District Shikarpur in early hours on Friday.
According to police two villagers identified as 37-years old Sabir Ali Hotani and 45-year old Mithal Khan Hotani were killed on the spot during the exchange of fire while one villager sustained bullet injuries.
Hotani armed men escaped away from place of firing after who saw the police have reached on the spot.
Area Police Officials (APOs) controlled over the situation after shifted the dead bodies of the deceased to Rural Health Centre (RHC) Madeji for conducting post-mortem examination from where after conducting post-mortem examination the dead bodies of the deceased handed over to their real heirs. While injured villager was admitted in RHC Madeji for medical treatment.
Neither FIR registered nor culprits were arrested till this story was filed.

VILLAGER GUNNED DOWN

SHIKARPUR:
A man identified as 45-years old Khadim Hussain son of Saeed Ahmed Odho caretaker of the Dargah Ameer Shah Bukhari was gunned down at house in village Muhammad Panah Odho in the jurisdiction of Garhi Yasin Police Station on Thursday early in the morning.
Reports said some group of unidentified armed men attacked the house of Khadim Hussain Odho and gunned down him and they escaped away from place of firing.
Heirs of the deceased shifted the body of the deceased Taluka Headquarter (THQ) Hospital for conducting post-mortem after conducting post-mortem examination body of the deceased handed over to his heirs.
The motive behind the incident could not be ascertained.
FIR was not registered till this story was filed.

ONE MAN DIES, ONE INJURED IN ROAD MISHAP

SHIKARPUR:
Two motorcyclists were coming from village Zarkhail for Shikarpur who were overturned due to over speed at Zarkhail link road in the jurisdiction of Khanpur Police Station on last late evening.
Area Police Official shifted to them in Taluka Headquarter (THQ) Hospital Khanpur after providing them first aid who were referred to Larkana Hospital for further treatment in critical condition.
Reports said one motorcyclist identified as Ubedullah residential of Mirpur Buriro Taluka Thul District Jacobabad on the way to Larkana Hospital but he succumbed to his injuries and his another companion reported out of danger in Larkana hospital.
