Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) filed a plea in the office of Returning Officer seeking recounting of votes in recently held by election of NA-122.
According to the details, Aleem Khan, runner up candidate, alleged that rejected votes and votes cast for goat were counted for Ayaz Sadiq, who won the election with thin margin, 2400 votes.
Meanwhile. RO has refused to entertain the request saying that he does not have the authority to grant it.
