LARKANA: A man was gunned down by unidentified armed in the limits of Civil Line Police Station here in Larkana city.
According to details: 4 unknown armed men ridding on two motorcycles opened discriminate firs on cyclist Nazir Hussain Abbasi (45) near Railway Ghinti Fatak resulting he died on the spot in the jurisdiction of PS Civil Line, after the incident armed men managed to escape from scene.
The area Police reached crime scene and shifted the dead body to CMC Hospital Larkana and handed over the dead body after the medico legal formalities.
Deceased Nazar Hussain Abbasi was resident of muhalla Minhal Abad air port road Larkana and was also Peon at government primary School Hatri Ghulam Shah.
10 Sepco employees lost their lives in the line of duty

LARKANA: SE SEPCO Larkana Nazir Ahmed Soomro has said that more than 10 Line men have lost their lives and several injured in different incidents in Sindh for past 6 months, human lives could be saved by using the safety belts and other instruments, he expressed these notions while addressing at Seminar on “safety of workers “here at Nizamani Labor Hall on Thursday.
He further said that all required equipment and instruments are available in Larkana circle to be used for their protection, but they are not utilized properly for their security, added that stern action would be taken against the concerned officials if they were found working without safety belt and other safety instruments.
He directed to all SEPCO workers to ensure the use of safety belt and other instruments during the field work and avoid the loss of precious human lives.
Executive Engineer SEPCO division City Larkana Mushataque Hussain Burdi, Ghazi Khan Lashari, Din Muhammad Chandio, Arbab Jatoi, Muhammad Hashim Gaad and others addressed on the occasion.
