He demanded the Interior Minister and IG Police Islamabad to release the arrested PTI leaders and workers, otherwise PTI will start the country wide protests and sit in, he said in press conference here at Larkana Press Club on Saturday.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi further said that one hand PML N rulers claimed to have dialogue with PTI on the other hand, PTI leaders and workers are being arrested and brutally targeted, adding that arrests and dialogues could not go together, PML N government is behind the failure of dialogue process and spoiling political environment, he said.
MR Qureshi said that PTI broke the dead lock and evacuated the Shahrah and venue of sit in on the request of opposition organizations, he demanded of members of joint sessions to play their role to evacuate the jail, filled with PTI workers.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi claimed that the PTI mandate had been stolen and now it would take back this “sacred trust” but in a peaceful manner. Today the govt has exposed itself by using “container politics” while paralysed routine life of people. “This is not democracy but dictatorship in the guise of democracy as using teargas and baton charge against the public is beyond comprehension,” he regretted.
Qureshi said that this was not “Noon league” rather it should be called “Khoon league.” The govt has completed more than one year but badly failed to deliver as today there is everywhere crisis, poverty, unemployment and lawlessness and for getting rid of these “monarchs” who were coming to power turn-by-turn just to strengthen their “families assets and rule.” He declared that whatsoever was happening today was not democracy rather barbarism as today dictators were ruling in the guise of democrats.
He announced that days of PML N government have been counted, Premier Nawaz Sharif will have to go home, sit in at Islamabad will continue till achievement of all objectives envisaged for Pakistani nation.
