PESHAWAR: The central government have been blacklisted as least 703 madrassas in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) under National Action Plan (NAP).
Sources said that action against the blacklisted madrassas will be taken soon. There are over 292 unregistered madrassas in North Waziristan and 204 in South Waziristan, while Kurrum Agency has 95, Khyber Agency 36 and Mohmad Agency has 26 madrassas.
