28 dead rain related-incidents in KPK

PESHAWAR: At least 28 people were dead in rain-related incidents across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), reported on Sunday.
According to details, the torrential rains in KPK have inundated several villages in Ghazi Garhi while 40-canal agricultural land devastated due to ongoing downpours.
Separately, a nine-year-old boy Abdullah was dead in roof collapse mishap in Shabqadar while his mother and 11-year-old brother Faizan Ullah sustained severe wounds.
On the other hand, a woman and a minor drowned in storm drain in Swat while land sliding blocked Korakaram Highway at different points, stranding dozens of passengers at several places.
Another killed as roof of a house caved in Kohistan whereas continuous rains in Chilas affected land links to other parts of the province.
