We fights for the rights of people of Sindh: Dr Mirza

BADIN: I scarified the all official facilities and provisions including ministry & official protocols in the interest and favor of people of Sindh. I was removed from the ministry over voiced out against the cruelty & corruption of Altaf Hussain. Rights and truth would never be pressed out. It was stated by former home minister Sindh, Dr Zulfiqar Ali Mirza during the Eid Million Party arranged in the honor of Dr Zulfiqar Ali Mirza by Gulzar Ahmed Memon.
Dr Mirza said that Shaheed Rani was led out the party of depressed, poorest and common people of Pakistan but nowadays present leaders of PPP made PPP as Zardari League. My family fought againstbarbarity and brutality and it is yet continue in the favor of the rights of people of Sindh. Plunderers have looted the Sindh and damaged and weakened all institutes of Sindh. People of Sindh through their votes can bring the changes in the favor of their own interests. Poor people of Badin has been won the combat against the powerful elements.
Moreover, he said that the relation which made since years with public of Badin and Sindh, could not be breached ever to come adding more he repeated the words “Now and Never” to cast the vote in the favor of his candidates in LG Election. On the occasion, Gulzar Ahmed Memon, Wahid Bux Chandio, Advocate Essa Mallah, Ex-provincial Advisor, Ghulam Murtaza Memon, Dr Abdullah Talpur and others.

Sindh Govt tumble-downed the all institutes of Sindh: Ismail Rahu

BADIN: PPP has made delimitation with its own choices for pre-rigging in LG election. It was said by Mohammad Ismail Rahu, during talking with media at Press Club Badin adding he told that Sindh Govt tumble-downed the all institutes of Sindh including Education, Health, Revenue and others because of its corruption, ill-administration and nepotism. Service structure have been violated and junior & corrupt officers promoted for commit corruption. Moreover, he said that PPP leadership is thwarted and disappointed to nominate their candidates for LG election due to their seven year bad Governance in Sindh Province.
Furthermore, he told that Mega projects would be started in Sindh by Federal Govt and it also provided funds of billions for green Line and Motor-way projects. Responding a question, Mr Rahu said that youths of Sindh would be provided opportunities of recruitment on the merit in federal Govt. On the occasion, Ali Ahmed Jokhio, President, PML-N District Badin, Jan Mohammad Ansari, Shahid Jokhio and others were present.

Discovery of ancient relics near Badin

KARACHI/BADIN: Ancient artifacts and statues, reportedly dating back centuries, were discovered by the residents of village Vidhri Chak, near Shadi Large area of district Badin. The discovery came as a result of recent rains in the area which unearthed the artefacts on river Hakro’s dry riverbed. The artefacts are said to be influenced by Buddhist culture.
“Many of the statues and artefacts are made of brass, copper and ivory,” said Habib Lund, a villager who was part of the group which found the objects adding he said after finding a few pieces, a group of villagers from his village started excavations in the area and unearthed more statues and artefacts.
“We used to discover similar artefacts from the area and we request the government to start proper archaeological excavations at the site,” he added.
Local archaeologists and historians working in the Wango area told media that this place was the site of an ancient city which used to be the capital for lower Sindh and Thar. “This region was of prime importance and centuries ago acted as the center of various civilizations,” said Mashkoor Phalkaro, a local historian and researcher. Another historian, Abu Bakar Shaikh said that the objects discovered suggest that they are centuries old when Dravidian culture was predominant in the region.
Zulfiqar Kalhoro, along with other anthropologists and an archaeologist, told media that the artefacts discovered are of great importance and belong to the Buddhist religion. Area residents and local historians have requested the government to take over the site and start proper excavations to unearth the remains of the ancient capital.

LARKANA: World Heart Day 2015 with the theme “Creating a Heart-Healthy Environments”‘ was observed here at Larkana by Shaheed Muhtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University (SMBBMU) aimed to sensitize People regarding the disease and its prevention.
Provincial Minister for Information and Education Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Vice Chancellor SMBBMU Professor Ghulam Asghar Channa jointly inaugurated the free medical camp here at Larkana Press Club in connection with World Heart Day to mark the day.
speaking on the occasion Senior Minister for Information and Education Nisar Ahmed Khuhro said civil society and health department should play their role to launch massive awareness campaign for sensitizing the people about hazardous aspects of smoking with a view to prevent cardio vascular diseases.
Minister emphasized on media to play its role initiate the informative programs regarding the health, agriculture, trade, education and others in public interest, adding that media has been utilizing ample time for other programs why not for public interest.
Vice Chancellor SMBBMU Ghulam Asghar Channa in his speech said that heart problems are increasing unabated due to improper measures and un awareness, just use of balanced diet and making ourselves habitual of 40 minutes walk on daily basis could avert the heart attack risk besides keeping cholesterol, blood pressure and sugar level under control.
Head of Department Cardiology Unit CMC Hospital Larkana Professor Bashir Ahmed Shaikh addressing said that excessive smoking, drinking, blood pressure, diabetes and use of junk food are the real causes behind the alarming rise of heart diseases in Pakistan. He said that excessive use of vegetables and minimum use of meat could help in controlling blood pressure and diabetes which were essential to avoid heart diseases.
He said that Cardio Vascular Diseases among heart disease and stroke, are the world’s largest killers, claims 17.3 million lives a year while in Pakistan, coronary heart disease claims about 200,000 lives per year
Earlier awareness walk was arranged by SMBBMU which started from CMC Hospital Cardiology unit which marching through various roads reached at Press.

SHIKARPUR: Allama Nasir Abbas Sherazi the Central Secretary for Politics Affairs of Majilis-e-Wahidatul-Muslimain (MWM) Pakistan has made responsible the Saudi Arbia government for failure in performing its responsibilities towards the proper administrative and security managements during the period of Hajj performance and expressed his great resentment over the poor managements by Saudi rulers which caused to appear the brutal tragedy of claiming many precious lives of the Hijaj-e-Kiram during the disaster of Mina in Makka Muazim.
He while expressing his deep grief and sorrow over the demise of hundreds of Hijaj-e-Kiram in Mina disaster during the stone throwing to evil (Sheetan) condoled with the bereaved families on the death of their relatives and demanded for independent investigation into the Mina disaster through Organization of Islamic Council (OIC).
On the other hand MWM leader has said that the Saudi Government should accept its negligence to ensure the proper security to the Hijaj-e-Kiram in order to unable them to perform the Hajj obligations as per teachings of Islam without facing any untoward incident during the Hajj performance period.
Nasir Abbas Sherazi strongly condemned the firing on LoC and demanded of Pakistan government to pay serious attention towards the defense of country boarders without wasting any time.
He said and added that MWM and other sincere national, religious and political parties and groups are opposing the negotiations to be held with terrorists groups because of the terrorist could not be cooperative towards the provision of peace matter.
He welcomed the campaign against the terrorists through National Action Plan (NAP) and Zarb-e-Azb to discourage the terrorists activities and their network to destroy the peace and tranquility in the country.
However he demanded the operation to be exercised in all other parts of the country by National Action Plan (NAP) and Zarb-e-Azb.
He on the occasion also allegedly said that the Shikarpur disaster was the part of terrorists network but the Sindh government failed to destroy the network of the terrorists elements and their facilitators as well as the Sindh government was avoiding of the demands of Shuhida Committee Shikarpur to be fulfilled within last 09 months after bomb blast incident in Shikarpur as committed by Sindh Government therefore the Chief Minister (CM) of Sindh should realize of his commitments and fulfill them otherwise the Shuhida Committee Shikarpur would launch the serious protest movement to press Sindh government for fulfillment of the demands if the government was failed to accept and fulfill the commitments made with Shuhida Committee during the Shikarpur tragedy.
In the last the MWM central leader has supported to the Local Government (LG) Elections program in the larger interest of the people of Pakistan. But in spite of that he demanded of Election Commission (EC) to change the date of casting votes within first 15 days of Muharam Sharif and the date of Chahlum to justify the LG Elections impartial if the Election Commission wanted the LG Election free, fair and transparent in the country.
Replying to a question Nasir Abbas Sherazi advised the Administrations to get their Madaris registered to meet the religious purpose and extend their mutual cooperation and coordination to each other religious institutions to promote the Islamic teachings and discourage the terrorists activities being exercised in the country.
However to raid on Madaris and Masajid is being considered as an action against the sanctity of the religious places.
