RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has on Sunday said that Pakistan Army is fully capable to respond to attacks on a small or large scale, adding that the enemy will face heavy consequences in any case.
While addressing a ceremony on Defence Day at the GHQ to honour the martyrs of the armed forces, Gen Raheel said September 6 was an important day in Pakistan’s history, when it repulsed the enemy’s attack and inflicted heavy losses on it.
Army chief said establishment of peace in the region is not possible by ignoring the Kashmir dispute.
