IG Sindh monitors FIRs against MQM Chief

LARKANA:
Inspector General Sindh Ghulam Haider Jamali on Friday said that FIRs against the MQM Chief Altaf Hussain have been registered in several cities of Pakistan in including Sindh province, legal action would be taken after the investigation, he said this while talking to media at Larkana.
IGP said that strict security measures have been taken on eve of Eid ul Fiter in Sindh to avoid any untoward situation, in this regard the he has devised comprehensive security plane to ensure peace and good law and order situation in all parts province, added that the personals of SRP and Special Branch will perform their duties on Eid festival.
IG Ghulam Haider Jamali told that law and order situation during the holy month of Ramdan remained satisfactory, he claimed that there was no single abduction case in past month, prior to this he informed that incidents of kidnapping for ransom, target killings, extortion and other crime were order of day and it was big challenge for Police but grace of Almighty Allah now we coped on them and situation under controlled.
He said that owing to efficient actions of bold Police officers, Police killed notorious dacoit Nazro Narejo few days back which was great achievement of Police, honest and well reputed Police officers have been posted in Sindh to eliminate the criminal elements, target killers, extortionists and dacoits, besides he said that Sindh Police has unearthed the 37 high profile cases among Safuran carnage, killing of US Doctor and others.
Earlier IG Sindh Ghulam Haider Jamali visited the residence of MNA Muhammad Ayaz Soomro at Sachal Colony Larkana and offered condolence on sad demise of his father Khuda Bux Soomro.
On occasion DIG Larkana Sain Rakhio Mirani, SSP Larkana Kamran Nawaz, SSP Shikarpur and other Police officers were present.

LARKANA:
The Commissioner Larkana Ghulam Akbar Leghari on Thursday inaugurated the free medical camp at Darul Amman Larkana and distributed the Eid gifts among Women and Children on the occasion.
Renowned doctors among Dr Shah Baig Chandio, Dr Diyali Gul and others conducted the checkup of inmates and provided the free medicines.
The Commissioner Larkana Ghulam Akbar Leghari visited the Darul Amman and inquired the problems of women inmates and directed the concerned officials of Darul Amman to provide the required facilities according to manual.
Speaking on the occasion Commissioner Larkana said that medical camps should be set up to deliver the health services to inmates housed in Darul Amman, he informed that he has directed the Social Welfare Department mitigate the issue of electricity and others.
He told that disconnection of electricity issue will be resolved, in this regard he assured the SEPCO local authorities early payment of bills and restoration.
Commissioner Larkana said that he had visited the several Darul Ammans of Sindh but Larkana was among developed Darul Amman with all amenities.

A delegation of Minorities Coordination Forum (MCF) led by Chairman Chudhry Saleem Maseh, President Munshi Ram Bagri, S G Creston and others offered condolence with MNA Muhammad Ayaz Soomro on sad demise of his father late Khuda Bux Soomro here on Thursday.
They expressed grief and sorrow over the sad demise and prayed the Almighty Allah to rest his soul in eternal peace, Panchayat leaders under the banner of the Minorities Coordination Forum (MCF) comprising on Bagri, Christens, Bheel, Oad, Harijan, Sikh and others on behalf of their communities condoling with Muslims aimed to boost the interfaith harmony and creating brotherhood.
On the occasion a large number of Panchayat leaders of minorities among Dr Rajesh Oad, Shahzad Parkash Harijan, Narain Singh and others were present.

JUMA-TUL-WIDA OBSERVED

SHIKARPUR: Juma-tul-Wida the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan was observed with religious zeal and fervor here on Friday.
On this occasion of Juma-Tul-Wida special prayers have offered for peace progress and prosperity of the country.
Ulema and Mashaikh in their special sermons highlighted importance of the holy month of Ramadan, fasting, Itikaf and Juma-tul-Wida.
Stern security arrangements had made by Law enforcing agencies for security of Masjids to avoid any untoward incident.

CHILD ELECTROCUTED

SHIKARPUR:
A baby identified as 09-years old Taiba daughter of Raja Shaikh was electrocuted at Khanchandabad Mohalla in the city in the jurisdiction of New Fujidari police station on Thursday.
As per details a child Taiba was playing at their home when she was touched an electric wire of water motor pump in which she was sustained serious wounds.
Parents of the child shifted her to District Headquarter (DHQ) Hospital for medical treatment but she was succumbed to her injuries in Hospital.
Later on she was laid to rest her ancestral graveyard after offering her funeral prayer.

TWO PERSONS DIED DUE TO HEATWAVE

SHIKARPUR:
The father of two kids identified as 22-years old Pir Bakhsh Soomro was died due to heatwave near Indus highway road Khanpur District Shikarpur in the limits of Khanpur police station on Thursday.
As per details a youth Pir Bakhsh Soomro was working in Brickyard due to heatwave he was fainted his other aide laborers shifted to him Taluka Headquarter (THQ) Hospital Khanpur for medical treatment but he was died due to heatwave.
From there after conducting post-mortem examination the body of the deceased laborer handed over to his relatives.
Meanwhile an elderly man identified as 60-years old Muhammad Bakhsh Soomro resident of Alla Abad Colony Shikarpur was died due to heat wave at Haji Moula Bux (HMB) Hospital Shikarpur.

FIVE PERSONS INJURED DURING A CLASH

SHIKARPUR:
At least five persons injured during the clash erupted between two groups of Shar community tribesmen on petty matter in village Horaan Shar in the limits of Khanpur police station here on Thursday.
According to police a clash erupted between two groups of Shar community tribesmen from leaving the water in the Agricultural field first, in which five persons including Sikandar Shar, Gulsher Shar and three others were sustained injuries.
Injured persons moved to Taluka Headquarter (THQ) Hospital Khanpur and Basic Health Unit (BHU) Hospital Rahimabad for medical treatment, police said.
FIR was not registered till this story was filed.
