Sindh Govt signs MoU for smart Karachi by Solar lights, CCTV & Wifi in 2015

Sindh government to make the Karachi smart city by innovative solar street lights, CCTV cameras as well as free WiFi facilities in 2015
According to the statement, Sindh Information Minister Shrajeel Inaam Memon and Sheikh Ahmed Al-Maktoum of Dubai signed MoU by three Chinese companies China (Eve) Abuda of Joshua interested to install smart technology in Karachi to complete the first phase in years 2015.
Sharjeel unveiled that modern solar street lights, free Wi-Fi and CCTV camera installation work will be started from Do-Talwar Clifton to Shara-e-Faisal Karachi within stipulated time with a cost US $ 20 million on first phase of the project out of total $200 million US dollars he told.
Sindh Local Government & Information Minister Sharjeel Memon signed MoU and committed to make smart city Karachi to implement the objectives to the development has initiated by meetings with different investment companies among China, USA and Dubai, while US company Rick David also play its part to make the city innovative and developed with CCTV and Wi-Fi for common men.
The CCTV camera recordings will be continued day and night and free Wi-Fi will completely record all of its activities to track the criminal elements activities in city, while it is attached the law enforcement agencies to monitor and internet fasciitis to the citizens of Karachi.
Statement told that the device will be connected in the range and common men will be able to use the free internet facilities at Sharah-e-Faisal and Clifton 2-Talwar and rest of the city. This project cost in first phase will be US $ 20 million out of total cost 200 million US dollars for smart Karachi city.
Later, Sharjeel Memon said that Pakistan Peoples Party’s vision to achieve the objectives of public facilities and make community develop ideas. He said after this MoU we will be able to make the city of light Karachi by solar energy and other issues of energy crisis in country he said.
He said Sindh government taking serious steps to establish peace in Karachi, while Police and Rangers overcome mass killing in Karachi, extortion, kidnapping for ransom and other crimes. He said free Wi-Fi and CCTV camera will be installed every streets and roads to properly monitor the criminal activities and terrorism, so that the Police, Rangers security role will be further admirable to take the peace and security of Karachi citizens he told.
