Karachi April 16: Special Team of Sindh Food Department, constituted by Minister for Food Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar, raided at M/s Agro Eximp and found there that there were about 15000 wheat bags illegally stored in Al Hasan godown in E shade port Qasim industrial zone. These bags were to be smuggled to abroad.
Over tis situation, the special team, headed by district food controller Malir Sarfaraz Tamangar, sealed the godown and confiscated these wheat bags.
Minister for Food Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has warned all those elements who are involved in illegal movement of wheat to other provinces and smuggling of wheat to other countries and has said that strict action will taken against them.
C.M. ALLOCATES ADDITIONAL PORTFOLIO OF SPORTS DEPARTMENT TOZIA-UL-HASSAN LANJAR
KARACHI: The Chief Minister, Sindh has allocated the additional portfolio of Sports Department to Mr. Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar, Special Assistant to Chief Minister Sindh for Auqaf (with the Status of Provincial Minister), with immediate effect.
550 CAUGHT DURING CHEATING IN EXAMINATIONS
KARACHI: The Incharge Vigilance Team of Chief Minister Sindh Engineer Nazir Ahmed Chakrani has said that more than 550 students have been caught red-handed while cheating in the Examinations of Secondary School Certificate and their copies were seized with in a period of 15 days.
This he said while paying surprise visit of various Examination Centres of Karachi on Thursday.
He said at least 20 outsiders were arrested and handed-over to the police for further action.
He said that Sindh Government taking steps to eradicate copy culture and in this regard Chief Minister Sindh has constituted a vigilance team to discharge the copy culture.
