14 outlaws arrested, drugs, weapons seized in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: Police under its ongoing drive against anti-social elements have arrested 14 lawbreakers and recovered 1140 gram heroin, 29 liter wine, eight pistols and a Kalashnikov from the possession of the accused, a police spokesman said on Thursday.
According to the details, Taxila police held Farzand Hussain for having 1140 gram heroin. Rattamral police netted Haji Riaz and recovered six liter wine.
Taxila police apprehended Saeed Ahmed and Shahid Abbasi on recovery of 16 liter wine while seven liter wine was recovered from the possession of a bootlegger namely Mohsin Ali.
Pirwadhai police nabbed Zawal Khan for possessing a Kalashnikov and 10 rounds while Umar Nawaz, Sahabdar, Kamran, Rizwan, Zubair, Baidar Shah, Imran and Ijaz Ahmed were sent behind the bars for possessing eight illegal 30 bore pistols and 32 rounds.
