KARACHI: National Forum for Environment and Health (NFEH) is holding 11th Annual Environment Excellence Awards (AEEA 2014) & conference on August 12 at Pearl continental hotel Lahore.
This was announced by Chairman NFEH Kaiser waheed & President Naeem Qureshi in the meeting of NFEH Advisory Committee held at NFEH Office.
They said these awards have become the benchmark for the standards that need to be followed. The AEEA are designed to recognize and promote the organizations which make an outstanding contribution towards sustainable development.
Naeem Qureshi said a conference and colorful award ceremony will be held on August 12, 2014 at local hotel Lahore. Governor Punjab Chaudhary Muhammad Sarwar will be the chief guest on the occasion and Provincial ministers secretary environment and representative of United Nations will also participate in the event. On this occasion, a special edition of Monthly Energy Update Magazine will highlight the role of award winning organizations through a special report. He said a conference on environmental issues will be organizing and prominent experts, environmentalists & industry leader will speak on sustainable development
On 11th Year celebrations an environment gallery is being organized NGO’S, Environmental projects, green energy project .environmental products will be displayed their projects and products in the gallery, to appreciate journalist 2 green media award will be honored he added.
President NFEH said more than 55 companies will be awarded on best performance on environment protection & top 10 companies will announce on event day. This event is supported by UNEP, Govt. of Punjab & Lahore chamber of commerce & industries
