CM DIRECTS DIG LARKANA TO LAUNCH OPERATION AGAINST DACOITS

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah taking serious note of the kidnapping of 10 people, including two of minorities from the areas of Kashmore and Qamber districts directed DIG Larkana to launch operation against dacoits and recover them at the earliest.
The Chief Minister during a briefing noticed that seven persons were kidnapped from the jurisdiction of Kashmore-Kandhkot district and three labourers from Kamber city. “I want writ of the government and restoration of law and order at any cost. Kidnapping of people would not be tolerated,” the chief minister said.
Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has issued directives to the Commissioner and DIG Larkana Division to take all out efforts and launch operation against the dacoits who have made the lives of citizens a hell. “Why law and order situation is getting worse. What the district administration and the police are doing. The heirs of the kidnapped people have started staging sit-in. Why this situation has arisen,” the chief minister asked.
The chief minister also directed the IG Sindh Ghulam Haider Jamali to personally monitor the operation against dacoits in both the districts and report him. The IG Sindh told the chief minister that the police have started operation for recovery of kidnapped persons and more than 30 criminals have been arrested so far. The recovery of kidnapped persons would be made very soon.
The IG assured the chief minister that they would recovered soon.
It may be noted that seven persons have been kidnapped from Kashmore, five from the jurisdiction of Bakhshapur police and three from Qambar.

KARACHI: Senior Minister Nisar Khuhro has said that shortage of water is a serious issue for Sindh as well Thar and people at of Thar are being looked after properly with a view to facilitates the people in providing them relief including livelihoods.
This he said while addressing the participants of Natinal Defence University, comprising elected public representatives, delegates of civil society and civil and military officials, who visited the Sindh Secretariat on Wednesday.
He said that wheat is being distributed to the people of Thar free of cost.
On the occasion Chief Secretary Sindh Sajjad Saleem Hotiana has said that Sindh Government has effectively been striving to ameliorate the people of Thar from the hardships and there is no lake of interest at the part of any stake holder, the misconception to this effect is baseless, he added.
I.G. Sindh Ghulam Hyder Jamali, Additional Chief Secretary Planning & Development Muhammad Waseem and Secretary Home Dr. Niaz Abbasi also elaborated the progress of Police, Planning & Development and Home Departments, respectively.
