He said armed forces of Pakistan had gained fruitful results in operation launched against terrorism in very short span of one and a half year while NATO forces engaged in Afghanistan could not achieve any productive results.
The minister said the nation was proud of armed forces for its efforts and sacrifices which had been acknowledged at national and international level.
To a question, he said that the Prime Minister, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was determined to provide maximum facilities to the people of Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) and a reforms committee had also been constituted in this regard.
He said that with efforts made by the incumbent government, Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) had started returning their homes while it would take some time for their complete rehablitation.
