RAWALPINDI: Pakistani Jets destroyed 23 terrorist hideouts killing 47 militants in fresh strikes on Tuesday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) wing of the Pakistan Army 20 militants were killed in strikes carried out this morning in Khyber Agency during which 12 hideouts were destroyed.
The ISPR adds that in strikes carried out this afternoon in Mirali another 27 terrorists were killed while 11 hideouts were destroyed along with a large cache of arms, ammunition and explosives. .
Later in the day a suicide bombing attempt was foiled by law enforcers in Spinwam when a suicide bomber tried to ram his explosive laden truck into the Spinwam hospital. ISPR adds, that if the law enforcers averted what could have caused a greater loss of life and property. Two law enforcers embraced martyrdom in the attack.
