Zarb-e-Azb: 28 terrorists killed in Shawal air strikes

RAWALPINDI: Twenty-eight more terrorists were taken out as fighter planes of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) pounded their suspected hideouts in Shawal area of North Waziristan Agency early Sunday morning.

According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), both local and foreign terrorists were killed in the latest offensive.

Six hideouts of terrorists were also destroyed in the air raids carried out as part of the ongoing operation Zarb-e-Azb which was launched in North Waziristan on June 15.

The full-scale military offensive was launched in the wake of failure of peace talks held with the militants of banned Tahrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
