SHIKARPUR: A youth was killed in an armed clash took place between two rival groups of Brohi and Kakepota tribes men at village Soon Waah within the jurisdiction of Gharhi Yasin Police station on Monday early in the morning.
According to reports some groups of armed men belonging to brohi community attacked with automatic weapons on the kakepota tribe men working at their field out side the village Soon Waah.
As a result of firing youth belonging to Kakepota community identified as Ibrar Ahmed, 18, son of Akbar Ali Kakepoto was killed.
The assailants after firing managed their good escape from the place of incident.
Receiving an information gharhi yasin police rushed to the spot and controlled over the situation. Later police brought the dead body of the deceased youth at Gharhi Yasin taluka hospital where the body was handed over to his relatives after conducting postmortem.
The motive behind the clash was said to be an old dispute going on between the parties since last 15-20 years in which more than 18 persons of both the parties were killed so far.
Later on laid to rest his ancestral graveyard after offering funeral prayers.
Neither the case was registered nor no any arrest of the culprits was reported till evening.
BOYCOTT OBSERVED OF JUDICIAL TRIAL.
SHIKARPUR: Responding the call from Sindh Bar Council the Shikarpur District Bar Association was declare boycott of judicial trial here on Monday.
According to detail, District Bar Association president Syed Aijaz Ali shah Advocate, Nazeer Hussain Bhayo Advocate, Muhammad Shahban Brohi Advocate, Naseer Ahmed Lodhi Advocate, Anwar Ali shaikh Advocate, Shakeel Ahmed Advocate and others said that youth Mazhar Ali Shar son of Additional Advocate General sindh Liaquat Shar and famous advocate Shabir Shar’s nephew was kidnapped some unidentified armed men when he was going to Bhatt Shah and he was kidnapped along with friends.
He further said that we have strongly condemned and demanded to Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah, IGP Sindh, DIG Sukkur and SSP Sukkur to take immediate notice into the matter.
On that occasion due to the boycott of judicial trial prisoners suffered several difficulties.
ONE DEAD, ONE INJURED IN ROAD MISHAP.
SHIKARPUR: A retired District Officer Education dead and his younger son injured in road mishap near kheer thar canal jurisdiction of Gharhi Yasin Police Station on Sunday early in the morning.
According to detail A retired district officer education shikarpur Mujeeb-ul-Rahman Soomro, 72, and his son Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Amjad Pervaiz Soomro, 32, were going on motorcycle from shikarpur to Dhakhan for care of their agricultural land in village Badho then one road passer was trying to struggle cross national highway Shikarpur-Larkana road for trying to save life of road passer so motorcycle has slipped.
As a result Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Soomro and his son ASI Amjad Pervaiz Soomro receive serious injuries.
Area police reached on the spot and moved to injured persons BHU Dhakhan for medical treatment but Mujeeb-ur-Rehman was succumbed his injuries.
After conducting post-mortem body of deceased handed over to his relatives.
