World T20: Pakistan beats Bangladesh by 55 runs in 1st match

KOLKATA: Pakistan beats Bangladesh by 55 runs in the fist match of World T20 Coup, on Wednesday.
Half centuries by Ahmed Shehzad and Mohammad Hafeez and a quick fire 49 runs by skipper Shahid Afridi helped Pakistan score 201/5 in their Group B Super 10 World Twenty20 game against Bangladesh at Kolkata.
Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat first in the match. Mohammad Hafeez was the top scorer for the team as he scored 64 runs from 42 balls with the help of seven boundaries and two sixes. Ahmed Shehzad made 52 runs from 39 balls with the help of eight fours.
Captain Shahid Afridi missed out on his half century as he was dismissed after scoring rapid 49 runs from 19 balls with four boundaries and four sixes to his name. Taskin Ahmed and Arafat Sunny grabbed two wickets for the Bangladeshi team while Sabbir Rahman dismissed one batsman as well.
Pakistan XI: Ahmed Shehzad, Sharjeel Khan, Mohammad Hafeez, Umar Akmal, Shoaib Malik, Sarfraz Ahmed, Shahid Afridi (captain), Imad Wasim, Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Irfan.
Bangladesh XI: Tamim Iqbal, Soumya Sarkar, Sabbir Rahman, Mahmudullah, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mashrafe Mortaza (captain), Mohammad Mithun, Al-Amin Hossain, Arafat Sunny and Taskin Ahmed.
