LARKANA: Several women resident of village Mena district Kamber Shahdadkot observed protest for releasing prisoner Bukhshal Lashari here out side the Larkana Press Club on Wednesday.
Mst Bachul Khatoon mother of prisoner told media men that his Bakhshal Lashari who is in central jail Larkana for 16 years in 302 case and alleged that her son was implicated by influential person of Mahesar community.
She said that court had awarded the 25 year imprisonment which has been completed by counting day and night, owing to poverty no one is looking after the case for releasing her son. Bachal Khatoon appealed to Chief Justice of Pakistan, Chief Minister Sindh and Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to take notice of matter, help her for releasing her son on humanitarian ground.

LARKANA: President Sindh Abro Welfare Association (SAWA) Professor Dr Hakim Ali Abro chaired the meeting of his Abro community regarding their prevailing issues here on Wednesday.
A large number of members of SAWA and notables of Abro community attended the meeting and discussed on issues.
Professor Hakim Ali Abro strongly condemned the incident of Salman Lashari and Salman Sarwar Abro, said that some vested interest officers are implicating the SP Ghulam Sarwar Abro, strict action be taken against such corrupt officers who are raising fingers on honest officer.
He demanded the constitution of judicial inquiry of matter and awarding severe action against the involved accused.
Retired post master announces self immolation over the failure of non-recovery of stolen valuables
LARKANA: Delayed in justice denied of justice, 66 year old Mazhar Ali Qadri retired Post Master resident of Ratodero city District Larkana announced to commit self-immolation over non provision of
justice despite of court verdict ion has been protesting and observing token hunger strike since 16 August 2008 for the recovery of stolen valuables of Rs 0. 5 million here in front of Larkana Press Club.on Tuesday.
Protesting man was carrying the placard inscribed slogans in favor of his longstanding demand to recover the stolen valuables and arrest the involved accused.
Talking to media men Mazahar Ali Qadri told the Journalists that former Chief Justice Supreme Court of Pakistan had taken notice of his matter few years back and ordered to Police for recovery of stolen valuables but despite of passing several months , local Police failed to obey the Court orders and did not arrest the involved accused.
He said his house was looted and stolen the valuables worth of Rs 0.5 million from his house by accused, who were nominated in case among Nizakat Channa, Nisar alias Makhno Channa, Shahzad alias Arbelo Channa but concerned Police were reluctant to arrest the accused, wondering in Ratodero city.
He informed that so far he has spent Rs 0.3 million on cases for recovery of stolen valuables and arrest of accused but still he has failed to get justice for past 5 years, he said. He appealed to Chief Justice Supreme Court of Pakistan Tasaduq Hussain Jilani to take notice of non implementation on the court order by local Police; he announced that if his matter was not addressed he would commit self immolation outside Larkana Press Club.
Operation starts against the power thefts, SEPCO and FIA teams nabbed 3 people in Warah city
LARKANA: SEPCO and FIA Teams conducted the crackdown operation against the power thefts in Larkana and Kamber Shahdadkot districts, nabbed 3 people on allegedly stealing the electricity in Warah city here on Tuesday.
Joint team of SEPCO and FIA led by Superintending Engineer SEPCO Larkana Nazir Ahmed Soomro visited the Warah city of district Kamber Shahdadkot and started the operation against the power thefts and caught red handed to Abdul Hussain Tunio, Abdul Ghani Brohi and Ameer Ali Soomro on allegation of using electricity without Meters.
SE SEPCO told that on the directives of Federal Minister for water and power, action against the defaulters and power thefts has been initiated to control the line losses and power thefts, added that crack down operations will continue till the desired results.
Villagers 5 hours protest against Bakrani Police over the failures of arrest the killers of 8 year boy
LARKANA: Heirs of deceased 8 year old Meherban Ali son of Mazhar Ali Shaikh resident of village Haroon Tunio Taluka Bakrani district Larkana who was brutally killed by armed men few days back in the jurisdiction of Bakrani Police Station, staged sit for 5 hours against the concerned Police for not arresting the involved culprits.
The protesting villagers and relatives of deceased were holding the banners and placards inscribed with slogans demanding the justice and arrest of 6 involved accused who are roaming in village and city issuing the life threats to heirs of deceased to withdraw from the case.
On the occasion enraged protesters torched the tyers and blocked the vehicular traffic for 5 hours at Jinah Bagh Chowk in protest and set up the tents.
Talking to media men father of deceased Mazhar Ali Shaikh told that Bakrani Police have failed to arrest the involved accused, instead of taking actions forcing the plaintiff for patch up.
ASP city Tauqeer Ahmed reached at scene and held talks with protestors and assured them to arrest the involved accused within 24 hours, on his assurance, protestors peacefully disbursed the protest.
