LAHORE: Federal Minister for Development and Planning, Ahsan Iqbal Sunday said the decision for the country’s future are not made in public rallies and that PTI Chairman Imran Khan, being irritated over uplift projects of the incumbent government, wants to provoke conflict.
In a statement, Ahsan Iqbal claimed that Pakistan Muslim League-N can stage biggest public gatherings but it is now time to engage in building the country. “At present what the country actually needs is an economic long march,” he added.
He said over a dozen political parties had the strength to hold large public meetings but are unable to win elections.
Taking a dig at Imran Khan, the Minister further said that Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf only wants to dissociate itself from the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
