PESHAWAR: Unknown men fired two rockets towards Peshawar Airport, however, no loss of life has been reported in the attack.
One of these rockets fell near the runway while the other fell outside the boundary of the airport.
Airport Security Force (ASF) said no one was hurt in the rocket fire.
Officials said the rockets were fired from unknown direction.
No group claimed responsibility for it.
Meanwhile, Diver and assistant driver sustained injuries in the blast near the locomotive of Zakriya Express on late Sunday night here in Rahim Yar Khan Punjab.
Police said the explosion occurred near Adam Sahaba station, as a result driver and assistant driver of the train sustained injuries. Railway traffic was suspended on up and down track, however, it was restored after short period of time.
Police further said the blast left 5-feet deep and 4-feet wide crater. The engine of the train was also damaged in the explosion.
GM Railway has confirmed that traffic on up and down track has been restored after Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) cleared the track.
The injured were taken to Shaikh Zaid Hospital.
Police said it was a remote-controlled blast.
Baloch Republican Army has claimed the responsibility of the blast.
