TWO PERSONS KILLED IN RANGERS’ FIRING

Two persons were killed while two others were seriously wounded in a deadly clash took place between the villagers and the Rangers at village Mubarak Marfani in the limits of Jahan Waah Police Station on Thursday early in the morning.

According to reports two villagers identified as Abdul Razzaque Marfani and Nabi Bux Marfani were killed while two other villagers named Ali Nawaz Marfani and Imam uddin Marfani received serious injuries during the an encounter took place between the Rangers and the villagers when the Rangers party was on its way towards forest area near Jagan to conduct an operation against the criminal there.

According to local sources the relatives of the deceased and injured persons staged a demonstration in protest against the Rangers and demanded the registration of FIR against the Rangers personnel and the other supporters of the Rangers.

Neither FIR was registered nor the post-mortem of the deceased was conducted till 5:00 PM.

WOMAN MURDERED

A woman identified as Mst Pathani of 22, was gunned down by her brother-in-Law Ali Gohar Shar on pretext of Karo-Kari at village Dost Muhammad Pathan in the limits of Kot Shahu Police Station on Thursday.

The accused Ali Gohar Shar made his good escape after firing on deceased Mst Pathani.

The dead body was handed over to her heirs after conducting post-mortem examination from Khanpur Taluka Headquarter (THQ) Hospital.

FIR was not registered till this news was flashed.
