Two killed, three injured in Karachi violence

KARACHI: Two people were killed and three others injured in separate incidents of violence in the city on Saturday.

A youth, Shah Nawaz Khan- 22 resident of Orangi Town was shot dead by unidentified armed men in Raja Tanveer Colony, Ittehad Town. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for an autopsy.

Similarly a youth, Manzoor-22 was shot dead by unidentified assailants near Abul Hassan Asphani road in Teachers Society. The body was sent to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for medico legal formalities.

A man, Anwar-25 was shot and injured by unidentified armed men in Orangi Town no 13. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment.

An unidentified man aged 30 was shot at and injured by armed men near Metro Shopping Center, Safari Park area. The injured was rushed to Darul Sehat Hospital for treatment. A girl, Kulsoom-10 was injured when unidentified armed men opened fire on her near Paracha graveyard in Kati Pahari area Orangi Town. The injured was shifted to ASH for treatment.
