ISLAMABAD: President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Mälikgulyýewiç Berdimuhamedov has arrived in Islamabad on a two-day official visit to Pakistan today (Wednesday).
PM Nawaz received the distinguished guest at the Nur Khan Airbase. He is accompanied by Ministers, senior officials and a high-level business delegation. President Berdimuhamedov earlier visited Pakistan in November 2011.
The visit is part of the regular high-level exchanges between the two brotherly countries.
During the visit, the President of Turkmenistan will meet the President of Pakistan, Mamnoon Hussain and will hold official talks with the Prime Minister.
A business forum comprising Turkmen and Pakistani businessmen will also be organized on the sidelines of the visit.
