RAWALPINDI: Turkish Chief of General Staff General Hulusi Akar on Wednesday called on Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Shareef and Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Rashad Mahmood.
The Turkish Chief of General Staff hold meeting with Raheel Sharif at General Headquarters today and discussed the matters of mutual interest including military to military cooperation between the two countries.
Turkish Chief of General Staff appreciated achievements of Operation Zarb-e-Azb and paid rich tribute to Pakistan’s sacrifices in bringing peace and stability in the region.
In another meeting with the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Rashad Mahmood at Joint Staff Headquarters, Turkish Chief of General Staff General Hulusi Akar lauded the professionalism of Pakistan Armed Forces and acknowledged the sacrifices rendered by Pakistan in fight against terrorism.
