HYDERABAD: A woman head of NGO which has been handed over many government high schools in Hyderabad and Qasimabad by education secretary Fazal Pechuho who happens to be brother in law of PPP chief Asif Ali Zardari, has created rumpus in Naval Rai government high school Gol Building which school also is handed to her NG, when she asked students of high school during morning assembly not to come to school wearing Sindhi cap. On intervention she also misbeved with teachers. On her unbecoming attitude and abusive language as well insult to Sindhi cap, traditionally loved by Sindhis all over world as part and symbol of heir national culture, all the staff members and teachers boycotted their work.The students of school also were provocked. All teachers later resigned en block. Since handing over school to this NGO headed by a woman Musrat Shah who claims as retired air force officer, there happen altercations in not only this school but all schools which are handed to her by secretary education Sindh Fazal Pechuho . The teachers, staff and students have made appeal to higher authorities to take notice of the incident and save education of Sindh by rescinding any kind of agreement between Sindh government and this NGO.
G Election hustle and bustle commence in Badin

BADIN: LG Election hustle and bustle commence in Badin, PPP, Muslim League (N), Dr Zulfiqar Mirza Group, Muslim league Functional, Qoumi Awami Tehreek and others groups have submitted their candidature forms for contesting the Local Govt Election.
According to details, on the 68 seats of chairman & vice chairman in district Badin 270 candidates have submitted their forms for contesting the LG election when 118 candidates are ready to contest the on 14 seats of ward members of Municipal Committee Badin and 90 ward members have submitted their forms on 12 wards of Matli Municipal Committee district Badin. It should mentioned that 02 Municipal committees and 10 Town Committees and 264 wards fallen in district Badin.
According to reports, 429 candidates are on the ground of election to contest in the Local Govt Election 2015 in 10 Town committees of district Badin. When 975 candidates have submitted their forms for general members at union council level for 264 general members in throughout the district Badin. Meanwhile 340 forms have been submitted for district Council members for contesting 68 seats of district Council members. It should mentioned that tough contest would be held in district Badin between PPP and Dr Zulfiqar Mirza group and his political alliance.
When Zulfiqar Ali Rahu, Dr, Aziz Memon, Tariq Aftab Hashmani, Ismail Rahimoon, Tariq Aziz Memon, Imran Soomro, Gulzar Ahmed Memon, Aijaz Khuwaja, Khan Sahib Allah Bachayo Memon, Riaz Taherani, Abdul Qadir Gopang, Ali Akbar Memon, Sehar Jafferi, Dr Aleem Panhwar, Bashir Arain, Haroon Nizmani, Ali Murad Shah, Dilshad Memon, Ali Nawaz Samoon, Farooq Turk, Allah Bachayo Sameejo, Abdul Razak Nohru and others would remain main contesters of LG election.
Other hand, it is also known through reliable sources that votes of supporters of Sheerazi Group would turn in the favor of Dr Mirza group. When Muslim League (N), Functional League, Dr Arbab Raheem Group & QAT have been already announced their support in the favor of Dr Mirza because of his campaign against corruption and terrorism in Pakistan.

SHIKARPUR: The program on the subject of “Peace my right” was organized by Strengthening Participatory Organization (SPO) Hyderabad in collaboration with Oxfam Novib to develop awareness among-st women for their basic rights on Saturday here.
The prominent social worker Mrs Safia Abbasi was a chief guest on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion Abida Zafar the representative of SPO, said that according to women rights the equality of the women have also preserved in the country law as well as the women rights including their equality has been reserved in Islam in which according to teachings of Islam the men and the women have given the equal rights in order to struggle jointly for improvement of socio-economic life of the people collectively as well as to build the fate of the county and its people because of without restoration of mutual cooperation and coordination neither the country could be developed nor the women and men genders could achieve their collective aims and objects of life.
She called for both the women and men factions to realize their obligations and reservations as given in Islam to be fulfilled accordingly by both the male and female genders in order to create and restore equality to avail the basic human right of living the lives comfortably and peace full situation without feeling any sense of violence and torturing committing form women and men sides in order to meet the fruit full results of life by avoiding of the act of violence at every stage instead of struggling separately to meet the ulterior motives.
Mrs Safia Abbasi said that their is more need of struggles by the women community together with the male community activists at every stage for stability of the maturity in the matter of women equality to work in the society for its welfare.
Furthermore, she highlighted the issues of women on the occasion.
However, she demanded of the government to establish of shelter house at Shikarpur to provide shelter to the victim women because the present system of Dar-ul-Aman was disliked by the civil society due to its poor facilities and sick services being provided by the managements of the Dar-ul-Amans.
On the occasion Abida Zafar formed a committee comprising 20 women members including Chairperson and voice chairperson to resolve their issues.
A large number of women participated in the program.

SHIKARPUR: A traditional community consultation event organized by Strengthening Participatory Organization (SPO) in collaboration with Oxfam novib on Friday.
A traditional event (Musical program) was arranged in which local singers including Wali Muhammad Lashari, Badar ul uddin Khosa and others were participated.
Speaking on the occasion Abida Zafar, the representative of Strengthening Participatory Organization (SPO) Hyderabad has said that such cultural programs primarily focused on educating youth about their rich cultural heritage and providing entertainment blended with information for people of all ages, adding more this program is our an old tradition while such programs gives us a chance to meet with each others therefore such programs are most important for us but we are forgetting such traditional events she added, furthermore, that SPO has launched a campaign entitled “peace my right” to create awareness amongst villagers to solve their problems and getting their right while she asked to them about their problems so that any solution may unearthed and which problem could move to higher authorities for larger interest of the villagers.
On the occasion Dad Muhammad Khoso and other villagers were complained against the Irrigation department that who were not operating motor pumps of Ruck pump station therefore drainage water is destroying our paddy crop and other crops.
They allegedly said that due to corrupt officers of Irrigation department Shikarpur we are facing several troubles and financial problems adding more the Irrigation Engineer can solve villagers problem but who is not sunseior to solve villagers problems now Irrigation department has not been paying their an electric bill of Ruck pump stations.
Furthermore villagers told on the eve of traditional event that the hospital and middle school is desirable in this village which are basic fundamental rights of villagers but government and local representatives have failed so far.
Abida Zafar said that according to villagers the drainage water has not been removing from village and its surrounding areas therefore the villagers are bearing million losses and also several diseases have been spreading in the area.
However, the villagers including Dad Muhammad and others demanded of the authorities concerned to take notice of the matter and provided them middle school for girls and boys and also a dispensary.
Parvaiz Ali Abro, Aamir Mahar were also addressed on the occasion.
