KARACHI: The Rangers personnel have arrested a target-killer belonging to a political party from Liaquatabad Super Market after an encounter.
According to Rangers’ spokesperson, suspect belonged to a political party and he was arrested after shootout when the target-killer named Tahir aka Taro, along with his 2 aides opened fire in Liaquatabad Super Market. However, his accomplices managed to escape from the scene. Further investigation is underway.
While, the police on Thursday arrested two accused named Umar and Madad Ali after an encounter at the Adam Khan Road and recovered arms from their possession.
According to SSP South, the arrested persons were activists of a political party.
The police also conducted a search operation in Gizri and its adjacent areas and arrested at least 20 suspects.
