SNP RALLY AGAINST LOAD SHEDDING: ASK BAN ON ENTRY OF ABID SHER ALI IN SINDH

Sindh National Party took out rally against ever increasing load shedding in Sindh and has demanded resignation of federal state minister for power Abid Sher Ali as also ban on his entry in Sindh. The rally was led by senior leader of SNP Ashraf Noonari and Nari Tehrik chairperson Dr. Uzma Jokhyo and Akhtar Sindhi.The participants in rally were chanting slogans against increasing load shedding and state minister Abid Sher Ali accusing him of discrimination against Sindh.Addressing rally Ashraf Noonari said under a planned conspiracy power crisis has been created in Sindh. He said Sindh was generating 5000 MW of electricity while its need is less than it but whole power production of Sindh is transferred to national grid from where power is supplied to Punjab where there is only 4 hours load shedding while Sindh is suffering 14 to 18 hours outage which was causing hindrance not only to industrial wheel but also development process. He said the long duration of load shedding has made life of common man miserable.He sid in Sindh the transformers and electric poles have been removed declaring villages as defaulters.
Despite fact that millions of rupees were recovered from people forcibly under deduction. He termed Abid Sher Ali as biased against Sindh and warned that SNP would lay siege to him if he visits any town in Sindh. He asked Sindh government to protest with federal government on increased load shedding and get due share of power generation for Sindh. He warned that in next phase his party would Gherao Hesco offices and put locks to them. Mujahid Khokhar, Khadim Baloch, Saleem Inqilabi, Mehboob Shto,Bajee Naseem Akhtar,Moona Junejo and others were present.

NO WHEREABOUTS OF FORCIBLY DISAPPEARED JOURNALIST RAMZAN BROHI 15 DAYS AFTER ARREST BY HYD POLICE

Journalist Ramzan Brohi of Husri district Hyderbad who was arrested by Husri police on May 24,2015 was still missing and his friends and relatives have not been told his whereabouts after arrest and forcibly disappeared.Hyderabad Union of Journalists (Dastoor) had already held protest demonstration outside press club Hyderabad for disclosure of his arrest and release but so far Hyderabad police has turned their ear on the issue. His relatives Brohi community held press conference on Sunday at press club during which they told that they had filed a petition in Sindh High Court Hyderabad circuit bench where police SHOs told court that Ramzan Brohi was not with them. However court issued orders to file FIR of disappearance of journalist Ramzan Brohi against Husri police but SSP Hyderabad and SDP Husri have refused to follow court orders.Ghulam Nabi Brohi, Haji Abdullah Brohi and others told that police was threatening them to withdraw petition or face consequences.They expressed apprehension that either Ramzan Brohi was in private custody or police has killed him. They said that SHC has issued orders to SSP to appear in court in person on 16 June and hoped that he would brief the court on whereabouts of journalist Ramzan Brohi. They made appeal to chief justice,prime minister, human rights bodies to help recover missing journalist. They also warned to take out protest rally on June 9 from Husri to DIG Hyderabad office and if he was not produced in court on 16 June they would stage dharna in front of SHC Karachi on 18 June.

GIRL DIES AND TWO INJURED IN ROAD MISHAP

SHIKARPUR:
A girl was died while two others sustained injuries due to Truck and Motorcycle collision at Khanpur Indus Highway some 15 kilometers from here in the limits of Khanpur Police Station on Sunday early hours.
According to details a woman, one girl and a man were coming to Shikarpur from their village riding on their motorcycle when a speedy Truck coming from opposite direction hit them.
As a result of accident a girl identified as Ameeran daughter of Gul Muhammad Khoso was died on the spot and motorcyclist identified as Dur Muhammad son of Hussain Bux Khoso and his wife Naseeba were sustained severe injuries.
Area Police Officials (APOs) rushed on the spot and the Truck was taken in their custody and apprehended the Truck driver.
Police moved body of the deceased girl to Khanpur Taluka Headquarter (THQ) Hospital for the post-mortem examination while injured for medical treatment after conducting post-mortem examination body of the deceased girl handed over to her heirs.
FIR was not registered till this news was flashed.
