HYDERABAD: Sindh National Party has said that Mutehida Qaumi Movement was a terrorist organization and involved in 98% of crimes and terrorist activities in Karachi as such army operation should be carried out in Karachi to eliminate the terrorism. This was stated by senior leader of SNP Ashraf Noonari addressing news conference here Wednesday.
He was flanked by Akhtar Sindhi, Tehrik chief Dr. Uzma Jatoi and others. He said has been victim of political,religious,sectarian and ethnic terrorism as on one hand Taliban terrorists want to impose their so called Sharia and state within state in country while on the other political terrorists have made citizens of Karachi hostage on gun point for their evil designs.
He praised army for successful army operation in Wazirstan, Wana and Bajaur which has given positive results adding that MQM was invloved in many terrorist incidents like 12 May, 9 April, 1 October 88, tragedies like Baldia town, Abbas town, Tahir plaza, timber market, etc. He said that MQM has also killed many security personnel but yet why action was not taken against them.
He also questioned as to why more than 300 terrorists of MQM including Solat Mirza, Ajmal Pahari, who have been sentenced were not being hanged. He also demanded to take action under JIT report of Baldia town factory inferno and government shall withdraw decision to form new probe committee. He demanded from UK government to stop its citizen Altaf Hussain who was spreading terrorism in Pakistan
SNP leader announced that his party would hold Dharna in front of UK High Commission in Karachi on 6th March with thousands of people including family members of terrorism victims and submit memorandum to high commissioner asking him to stop exporting terrorism from his country to Pakistan through its citizen Altaf Hussain. He told that their sit in will be peaceful but if attempt was made to block them then SNP would hold protests across Sindh.

LARKANA: Chairperson Sindh Human Rights Commission (SHRC) government of Sindh Justice Retired Majida Razvi accompanied by Syed Gul Munir Shah ( R ) District and Session Judge paid surprise visit of different units of Chandka Medical College Hospital among Emergency unit, cardiology department, urology, administration block and others.
She expressed resentment over the absence of MLO in emergency ward relevant patients could face the hardships due unavailability of him, she directed the hospital administration to ensure the quality health services to poor patients.
Chairperson SHRC Justice R Majida Razvi told media persons that objective behind her visit, was to monitor the human rights violation in hospital and other institutions.
She said that it is collective responsibility on representatives of civil society and citizens to own the hospital and play their respective role for betterment of health delivery system along with administration.
On the occasion she received number of complaints about the non availability of medicines in emergency department and other units of hospital.
Dr Habib u Rehman representative of CMC Hospital briefed to Chairperson SHRC regarding the health facilities being provided to admitted patients, said that hospital is facing shortage of medicines due to delay in supply by Sindh government.

LARKANA: A large number of employees of Larkana Development Authority (LDA) took out the protest rally and staged sit in outside Jinah Bagh Chok against non provision of 13 months salaries.
Hafeez Chandio, Mahboob Bhutto, Feroz Gul, Shahjahan Kalhoro and others by carrying banners and placards shouted slogans and calling for early release of their salaries.
They told media men that concerned authorities have failed to address problems of poor employees of LDA, families of employees are facing the starvation and hardships due to poverty and withheld of salaries.
They alleged that Secretary Local government is not serious to address the issues and reluctant to release the withheld salaries of LDA employees responsible of present crises, and former DG Asghar Abbas Shaikh and Assistant Secretary Noor Nabi Shaikh were involved in irregularities of millions rupees from 2008 to 2014, sent several employees on visas and damaged the institution, alleging that still they have not handed over the 11 vehicles and 5 motorcycles to sitting officers.
They demanded of high ups to take notice of matter, conduct an inquiry of misuse of funds, corruption of former LDA officials and release withheld salaries of poor employees and address their issue, otherwise they will continue their struggle till the acceptance of their demands.
