Sindh CM says law and order better in Karachi; Thanks Chinese President for categorical statement of standing with Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, Apr 21 (INP) Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah Tuesday said that law and order situation in Karachi much better now and Rangers and Police are jointly playing effective role for this purpose.

Talking to INP at the Parliament House, the Chief Minister said that further steps will be taken to further improve the environment in Karachi. He emphasised the need for improving the atmosphere of coordination and understanding between the provinces.

In reply to a question, Sindh Chief Minister said that Pak-China friendship was ever lasting and every government contributed for strengthening these relations.

He said he was not invited by the Prime Minister Secretary at the Agreements/MoUs sighing ceremony on Monday. However the Speaker of the National Assembly invited him to attend the address of the Chinese President and he came specifically for this purpose.

Syed Qaim Ali Shah described the address of the Chinese President as comprehensive and forceful covering all issues. He said the entire Pakistani nation is thankful to President Xi for his categorical commitment to standby Pakistan for defence of its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
