Sindh Assembly adopts resolution against Islamabad sit-ins

KARACHI: Sindh Assembly on Friday unanimously passed a resolution against Islamabad sit-ins, declaring the move as conspiracy against the democracy.
The resolution was submitted by the Sorath Thebo of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) which was supported by all the members present in the house.
The resolution also condemned the undemocratic and non-parliamentary language being used by PTI and PAT leaders against the political leadership of the country.
Earlier discussing the resolution, members in the house made it clear that by gathering bunch of people, democratically elected governments cannot be forced to quit. Members vowed to safeguard the democracy and democratic institutions.
