DADU: A completely shutter down strike was observed in town on Wednesday against Pakistan Protection Ordinance (PPO) and forcibly picking up of activists and burning them alive.
Due to shutter down strike, main markets of town including Rai Bazar, Shahi Bazar, Station road, new bus stand and others remained close. Traffic on Dadu-Hyderabad, Dadu-Moro and Dadu-Larkana routes remained thin. While heavy contingency of police was deployed at various places to face any pleasant situation.
However, Shutter down strike was also observed in Mehar, Khairpur Nathan Shah, Johi, Bhan, Sehwan talukas.
Late last night, unknown persons threw three crackers at various places of town which caused harassment among the citizens. No casualties were reported from any part of the district. Following the three explosions, Dadu police raided at various places and arrested three suspects.
