LARKANA: SHO infuriated over the disconnection of electricity of his house allegedly tortured to Lineman of Sukkur Electric Supply Company (SEPCO) and locked up him at Police Station, DIG took notice and suspended SHO here on Monday.
Lineman SEPCO Irshad Khokhar disconnected electricity of House of SHO Waleed Police Station Khalil U Rehman Massan situated at Shahbaz Colony Larkana which led to scuffle between Police Officer and SEPCO Lineman, on the occasion SHO Khalil U Rehman allegedly inflamed with anger and brutally beaten to Lineman WAPDA Irshad Khokhar and took him at Waleed Police Station and locked up him.
After the incident a large number of Pakistan WAPDA Hydro Labor Union Leaders and workers reached at Waleed Police to get their Lineman released and staged protest led by Regional Chairman Nisar Ahmed Shaikh, Khalid Chandio and others against the atrocity of Police official.
On the directives of DIG Larkana Sain Rakhio Mirani, Police released the Lineman and formed inquiry committee led by DSP Civil Line Larkana Yar Muhammad Rind to probe into the incident.
Regional Chairman Pakistan WAPDA Hydro Labor Union Nisar Ahmed Shaikh told media that Lineman had gone at SHO Home to disconnect the two illegal connections and infuriated over the SEPCO action, he apprised that SHO Khalil Masan has been stealing the electricity since long time and involved in power theft.
SHO Khalil Rehman Massan denied the allegations and said that Lineman used to knock my door and teasing us that is why took action.

HYDERABAD: Communist Party of Pakistan has rejected 143 billion farmers package announced by prime minister Nawaz Sharif terming it as meant to show favour to PML party workers and supporters. This was stated in an statement issued after politburo meeting of CPP. Statement said at time of local bodies elections such package could be meant to purcahse votes. It will be huge burden on national exchequer. Party demanded to withdraw same. It demanded from government to make mandatory on PASCO and trading corporation of Pakistan to purchase cotton, wheat, sugarcane and rice from growers on price fixed by government. It demanded to set up an organisation on lines of NAP to supervise the process of loans without interest and to reduce rates of fertilizers like nitrogen and DAP.
CPP said that claims of elimination of terrorism have been exposed by attack of Badaber air base and added that until religious extremists dissemination is not blocked and also to change the religious concept of state until then the terrorism could not be routed out. It also asked to end the concept of good and bad terrorists as also to enhance secular culture. CPP said the foreign policy of country could not be made subservient to few persons or non political institutes and same be discussed in parliament. It said the loot and plunder by private education sector continues since long. It asked to end corporate educational system and private sectors of education and health should be nationalized.
SMBBMU ruled out all the allegations leveled against pro vice chancellor

DADU: Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed, Sindh University Campus Dadu spokesman on Monday ruled out all the allegations leveled against pro vice chancellor, Professor Dr. Anwar Ali Shah G. Syed by the students and termed them totally baseless and fabricated which don’t carry truth.
In a statement issued here on Monday, he said that some elements want to spoil the environment and the reputation of Dadu Campus. He said that as per policy of Sindh University, MBBS Dadu campus is providing more facilities than other campuses like scholarships, free ships, bursars and student tour. He further said that pro vice chancellor, Professor Dr. Anwar Ali Shah G. Syed has advised students that they should utilize their all the efforts in getting education and part their ways from bad deeds.
Notorious dacoits encountered by police

BADIN: Hardened dacoit who were stealthy stood intending to rob people nearby Dargah Chhuto Peer Golarchi encountered by Golarchi police on Monday when one dacoit injured seriously when three others were arrested.
According to the details, 04 dacoits have encountered by Golarchi police when they were stealthy stood intending to loot the common people. Police cordoned off the area by receiving intelligence information in the lead of Mohammad Ibrahim Jatoi, SHO Golarchi where dacoits opened fire on the police contingent. When police recovered the looted precious material and modern weapons from the dacoits possession. The injured and arrested dacoits were later identified as Ghulam Mustafa alies Mutto, Ali Mohammad Shaikh, Mustafa Shaikh and Roshan Shaikh. Mohammad Ibrahim Jatoi, SHO Golarchi told media that arrested criminal were wanted in 5 heinous crime at Golarchi Police.

BADIN: Journalists of Badin Press Club and Awan-e-Sahafat jointly staged protest against the attack on team of private Channel SAAMA and its DSNG vehicle. The protest rally held in front of Badin Press Club and Awan-e-Sahafat in the lead of Tanveer Ahmed Arain, President, Badin Press Club and Haji Mehmood Ghaman, General Secretary of Awan-e-Sahafat Badin.
Senior & Junior journalists including Shoukat Memon, Abdul Latif Zargar, Abdul Majeed Mallah, Hanif Zai, Sulleman Mandhro, Sawan Khaskheli, Khalid Abbasi, Raja Shakeel Ghanchi, Imran Khuwaja, Razique Khoso Akhtar Shah & others have participated the protest.
While addressing the protest rally representatives of journalists ‘said that attack on the journalists are being increased day by day and Govt Sindh failed to decrease such type attacks adding they termed such type attacks as conspiracy to write truth against the corruption and criminal mafias. Journalists demanded the arrestment of involved the terrorists on immediate basis and protection for journalists.
