SHIKARPUR: A sister-in-law was gunned down allegedly, by brother in law in the name of honour at village Illahi Bux Essani in the limits of Dilawar Marfani police station on Saturday.
As per details, accused Liaquat Ali Essani was gunned down to sister in law identified as Mst Naseeban of 25, wife of Shahzado Essani with Anwar Essani on allegation of honur (Karo-Kari) who is the residential of same village and their relative also.
As a result of firing Ms Naseeban was killed on the spot and Liaquat Essani manage to their good escape.
Area police rushed on the spot and handed over the body of the deceased woman to her relatives after conducting post-mortem examination from Taluka Headquarter (THQ) Hospital Garhi Yasin. An FIR was not registered till this story was filed.
