HYDERABAD: Sindh Minister for culture and tourism Sharmila Farooqi has said country was in grip of various problems including terrorism, lawlessness, sectarianism and poverty the solution of all these lies in following the teachings of Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai and other soofi saints who gave message of love and brotherhood. She said it was time we spread the message of our saint soofis throughout world to end unrest and to establish religious harmony. She was talking with media after laying floral wreath on Mazar of Shah Latif Bhitai while inaugurating his 271 annual Urs at Bhitshah district Matirari. She said due to Shah Bhitai’s teachings of love people rich and poor and belonging to all sects and religions happen to be his devotees. She said specially at the situation prevailing in country we need tolerance and religious harmony in which lay solution of our issues. She said the law order situation in Karachi was exceptional in comparison to whole country for improvement of which the government in consultation with other political parties has launched targeted operation which was continuing successfully.She said many target killers have been arrested and also given punishments.She said past government had let these target killers free on paroles. She said there were other issues like sectarianism and intolerance the government was addressing such issues through initiatives of peace and brotherhood. Later she also inaugurated industrial and agricultural exhibitions and also livestock stall. She condoled the death of JUI leader Dr.Khalid Mahmood Soomro and assured that government was investigating the incident and would bring culprits to justice. CM’s advisor for culture Sarfaraz Rajar, secretary culture Aijaz Memon, DG culture Manzoor Kanasro, DC Matiari and others were present on the occasion.

LARKANA: Ameer Bux Bhutto chaired the meeting of central committee of Sindh National Front (SNF) merged in Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) PML N few month back here at residence of Sardar Mumtaz Ali Bhutto in Larkana to decide about future strategy and ponder over the new political scenario here on Sunday.
The meeting expressed concern over policies of PML N and said that now PML N has deviated from its promises made with SNF to make accountability against the corrupt politicians who plunderd public wealth, PML N also had promised to punish the notorious corrupt and failure rulers and would be dragged on roads of Larkana and Lahore, but after coming into power did not take any action, contrary PML N made reconciliation with such powers.
On the occasion meeting categorically said that we reserve rights to part way from PML N and reorganize the SNF merged in PML N, the decision will be taken after returning of Sardar Mumtaz Ali Bhutto from abroad visit.
Particepants of meeting said that we arre follwers of Sardar Mumtaz Ali Bhutto we have never withdrawn from struggle for the rights of Sindh, decisions of future will be taken in best interest of Sindh soil and its people.
Former Vice Chairman SNF Ameer Bux Bhutto, Allah Bux Soomro former Vice Chairman, Muhammad Ayoub Shar former General Secretary SNF, Deputy General Secretary Syed Hassan Mehmood Amroti and other 100 members attended the meeting.

LARKANA: Cultural day in Larkana like other parts of Sindh was celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm, different organizations and citizens among women and children by wearing Sindhi Ajrak and Topi (cap) took out the rally to mark the event here on Sunday.
On the occasion different political and nationalist parties, including PPP, PML-F, PML- JSQM, STPP, SUP, Qaumi Awami Tehreek, and others also celebrated the cultural day. People exchanged Sindhi caps and Ajraks with each other, large rallies were taken out from various locations which terminated at Jinah Bagh Chok where participants performed traditional dance and sung songs, Sindhi caps and Ajrak. Tableau and traditional dance were the hallmark of these rallies.
Speakers said that Sindh is rich in culture and tradition. revival of Sindh’s culture and tradition is need of hour to unite Sindh people for promoting their culture and peaceful message to entire world, added that celebrations will promote social integrity, economic and cultural activities and people love Sindh and its traditions they said.
On the occasion participant poets and scholarsthrough their poetry paid rich tribute to Sindh soil and said that Sindhi culture and traditions are ancient and people of Sindh are the guardians of Moenjodaro heritage.

SHIKARPUR: A speedy van collided with 8 year old girl she was received serious wounded, van driver arrested by police within the jurisdiction of Lakhi Gate police station here on Sunday.
According to reports, a speedy van coming from Larkana to Shikarpur hit a teenage Raheela daughter of Javeed Buriro.
As a result teen age received injuries and she was moved to civil hospital shikarpur for medical treatment.
Area police reached on the spot and impounded van and arrested van driver Abdul Razzaque Abro.
Eight year old girl was out of danger, duty doctor said.
FIR was not registered till this news was flashed.

SHIKARPUR: A large number of Kalhora community peoples blocked by-pass Jacobabad-Shikarpur Indus high way and arrest of killers demanded within the jurisdiction of Stuart Ganj Police Station here on Sunday.
On that occasion leader of Kalhora Community Amjad Ali Kalhore told to media persons two years ago Haroon And Ghulam Qadir were killed but passage of long time police can’t arrest of killers.
On that occasion he demanded to high-ups to take immediate notice above matter and provide relief.

In the detail, thousands of participants including children & Political, Social, religious, traders & others organizations of Badin have participated in the huge rally in Badin which was organized by Badin Press Club & Awan-e-Sahafat on the occasion of Sindh Culture day, here at Badin.
The rally was took place from Allah Wala Chowk Badin & while marching on the main roads of Badin concluded at Badin press Club. While addressing the participants, Tanveer Ahmed Arain, Professor Abdullah Mallah, Sahib Khan Jamali, Ghulam Mustafa Jamali, Abdul Majeed Mallah, Abdul Shakoor Memon, Haroon Gopang, Shahnawaz Siyal, Muhammad Khan Samoon. Umar Mallah & others said that today people of Sindh are united under the slogan of the color of culture of Sindh.
They said that today there is no difference of any cost, color & creed is seemed, all people living in Sindh province are united under the banner of Sindh & its culture.

SIB stages protest against inattention of Govt in arrestment of the killers of their leader

BADIN: Soomra Itehad Badin (SIB) has held a Quran Khawani at Badin for the Shaheed Dr. Khalid Mehmood Soomro. On the occasion, President of Soomra Itehad district Badin, Ali Muhammad Soomro, General Secretary, Muhammad Hanif Soomro & others said that Shaheed Dr. Khalid Mehmood Soomro was on the rights path & fighting against the atrocities & injustice with local people & used to spoke in the favor of the people of Sindh.
He was an honest & sincere son of Sindh. They said that assassin of Shaheed Dr. Khalid Mehmood cannot set aside himself from the birch of their ill occurred.
Hundreds workers of Soomra Itehad Badin also staged protest against the negligence in arrestment of killers of Dr. Khalid Mehmood Soomro.
They appealed Sindh Govt to take immediate action against killers & make sure to arrest them on immediate basis.

GHOTKI: Sindhi Cultural Day also called Ajrak Topi day celebrated in Sindh on Sunday with traditional zeal and enthusiasm.
Various political and nationalist parties took out rallies, people from all walks of life participated in rallies in Ghotki, Mirpur Mathelo, Daharki, Ubauro, Pano Aqil, Sukkur, Khairpur and other cities of province wearing Sindhi cap and a shawl called Ajrak and danced over Sindhi songs to express their patriotism to Sindh. Men, women and children participated in the rallies, danced on roads, streets and other places on the tunes of national Sindhi songs. Youngsters danced over the song “Jeay Sindh Jeay, Sindh wara Jean” which compelled others to dance.
Tablues and cultural functions were arranged at schools, colleges, and almost in all towns and villages of Sindh. Buildings, offices, shops and houses were decorated with lights and banners showing their love.
Sindhi Cultural Day is celebrated throughout world every year on December 7, by wearing Sindhi Cap and Ajrak, the day is celebrated to keep Sindhi culture alive.
