LARKANA: Sukkur Electric and Power Company (SEPCO) Sub division Shaikh Zaid Larkana conducted the crackdown operation against defaulters and disconnected the hundreds the illegal connections in different localities here on Thursday.
SEPCO officials led by SDO Ismail Qureshi, LS Nizamuddin Bughio, Maqsood Jatoi, Gada Hussain Jamali and others visited the Shaikh Zaid Colony, Gareebabad, Yar Muhammad Colony, Industrial area, Mirani Muhalla Larkana and others where SEPCO team found illegal connections and unlawful practice of power theft, on the occasion they disconnected 200 illegal kundha connections and warned the defaulters to pay their dues, otherwise they would be dealt with stern action.
LARKANA: Several organizations held condolence references for the peace of departed souls in a tragic incident with innocent community at Safoora Chowk Karachi.
The participants strongly condemned the terrorist act and extended condolence on the loss of lives in bus attack by the terrorists, which was very tragic incident with peaceful community.
On the occasion, Sahkar Social Welfare Association (SSWA) Larkana participants strongly condemned among renowned social activist Riaz Hussain Chandio, Akhtar Kalhoro, Ahsan Shaikh, Israr Memon and others.
They also said the attack represents a senseless act of violence against a peaceful community rendering their contribution for the development of country.
Social activists said the terrorists have no religion and the heinous incident cannot deter the resolve of the masses, every individual will have to be aware to counter the enemy of country. They demanded of high ups for apprehending and meting out exemplary punishment to the perpetrators and elements behind the gruesome incident.
While, several religious and poetical organizations among Khaksar Tehreek, Jamait Islami, Jeay Sindh Qaumparast Party, Sind United Party, PML-N, PTI and other civil society have condemned the tragic incident and attack on Bus in Karachi.
In a press statement Sindh Advisor to Qaid Khaksar Tehreek Pakistan Professor Hakeem Syed Ali Nasr Askri demanded of the Sindh government for strict notice of sad demise of the incident and expressed his grief over the attack on innocent community. He also prayed Almighty Allah to rest their soul in eternal piece.
The Humanism Organization Pakistan convened the emergency meeting under the chair of Senior Vice Chairman Ghulam Murtaza Leghari to condemn the Karachi carnage.
The participants of meeting appealed to Prime Minister of Pakistan, Chief Justice Supreme Court of Pakistan and other higher authorities to take notice of incident bring the culprits court of Justice and award severe punishment to them.
LARKANA: To create an awareness among the masses to avoid early child marriages, Aahung in collaboration with OXFAM arrangedthree days training workshop medical professionals of two tehsils of Larkana district, Dokri and Larkana tehsil here at local hotel.
Speaking on the occasion representatives of OXFAM fslamabad Ambreen Sharif said that her organization is working on “Bachpan Bachaoo” campaign (save the childhood) which aimed to sensitize the common people and make them aware for preventing early child marriages, she added that underage girls are facing many health issues after the weddings and during the pregnancy and delivery, she told.
Renowned social activist and representative Pirbhat Women Development society Rubina Chandio said, Sindh child marriage restraint bill 2013 has been passed by Sindh Assembly for controlling the early child marriages, but government has failed to get bill implemented in province, still premature marriages before age of 18th are in full swing, Police and district administrations were unaware,
She stated that it was necessary to implement on new ordinance regarding the new law, contract child marriage is punishable for 3 years, Molvi, parents groom would be held and punished according to law,
DR Sikandar Suhani, Dr Inyat Kandhro, Murad Pandrani, Shanul Khoso, DR Sher Muhammad Ghanghro and others also addressed on the occasion.
Later Ambreen Shareef also chaired the first meeting of newly formed “Task Force” comprising on Lawyers, Journalists, Police and other citizens to deal with early child marriage issues in Larkana and Kamber Shahdadkot district.
The meeting was attended by advocate Abdul Rehman Bhutto, Rubina Chandio, Imtiaz Gorar, Hanif Suhag, Hafeez Mangi, Javed Gopang, Khalida Sahar Soomro, Inspector Zareena Chandio, Murad Pandrani and others.
GROOM AND BRIDE’S CAR OVERTURNED IN FISH POND
SHIKARPUR: The marriage party coming from Rato dero District Larkana for village Meehou Pur Baluchistan Province overturned groom and bride car near village Karan Sharif in fish pond due to over speed in the limits of Karan Sharif Police Station on Monday.
Credible sources said all passengers including groom and bride are safe and sound and after few hours they went to their destination.
SHIKARPUR: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shikarpur Hadi Bux Zardari presided a meeting in connection review of polio drive arrangement on Monday.
According to hand out issued by District Information Officer Shikarpur stated that Polio injection vaccine will injected in the fifteen union councils children in this connection persuaded to masses of the fifteen union councils.
Hand out further stated that Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shikarpur has said that children of katcha union councils will get safety against danger disease Polio.
DC directed to Police, Revenue officials they will full help of Health Department.
Earlier, Dr Faheem the representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) has said that we will achieve six thousands target in the fifteen union councils.

THREE PERSONS KILLED
SHIKARPUR: Three persons were killed while two other were wounded in two separate incidents of firing and a road accident within the jurisdiction of Dakhan and Sultankot Police Stations on Thursday.
A man and a woman were murdered at village Ali Khan in the jurisdiction of Dakhan Police Station.
According to reports Ghulam Qadir Khakhrani shot dead his sister-in-law Mrs Ameena of 28, wife of his brother Mumtaz Khakhrani and Ali Gohar Shar of 30, when he saw them in objectionable condition in the house. While one boy Ali Hyder Khakhrani of 15 also wounded in firing on that occasion.
The injured boy was sent to Taluka headquarter (THQ) Garhi Yaseen Hospital for medical treatment while the dead bodies of the deceased man and woman were handed over to their relatives after conducting post-mortem examination in Taluka headquarter (THQ) Garhi Yaseen Hospital.
No FIR was registered till late evening.
However the accused Ghulam Qadir Khakhrani was arrested from the village after the incident.
Meanwhile the other incident of a collision occurred between a bus and a motorbike on Sultankot – Jagan link road in which one motorcyclist Kamal Jaffari was killed on the spot and his other relative Yaseen Jaffari sustained serious injuries within the jurisdiction of Sultankot Police Station on the same day.
The bus driver drove away while leaving the bus on the road.
The bus carrying the passengers two attend some marriage party was on the way when the accident occurred.
The Injured Yaseen Jaffari was brought to admit in District Headquarter (DHQ) Hospital Shikarpur for medical treatment whos condition is reported out of danger.

He said and added that the ongoing dispute between PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and the former PPP home minister of Sindh Dr Zulfikar Mirza has created the ugly situation in party politics and discipline when the all PPP leaders were seemed failed to encounter the allegations imposed by Mr Mirza for solidarity the party stability because of the PPP government could not up grade the welfare activities for well being of the party workers as well as the PPP supporting people who gave them their mediate to serve them after coming in power but the PPP leadership instead of redressing their grievances damaged the people’s confidence while encouraging the corruption culture in the province since last seven years.
He strongly condemned the incident of killing the innocent persons riding in a community bus by some terrorists group at Saforan Chowk within the jurisdiction of Sachal Police Station and expressed his condolence to the victim families on the sad demise of their relatives killed in ill-fated bus in Karachi.
On the other hand he expressed his satisfaction over the on going operation being conducted by the Rangers to uproot the terrorism and social evils for restoration of peace and tranquility in Karachi and hoped for ensuring the permanent peace full situation in Karachi and other parts of the province.
A MAN MURDERED
SHIKARPUR: A youngster identified as Akhtiar Sheikh was shot dead by two armed men including Aslam and Saleem Wadhayo on pretext of Karo-Kari at village Soomrani Wadhiya within the jurisdiction of Bado Police Station on Wednesday.
The accused after murdering Akhtiar Sheikh escaped away from the place of incident.
On the complaint of Qurban Ali Sheikh the father of deceased, the Bado police have registered the FIR against Aslam and Saleem Wadhayo.
The complainant has denied of the Karo-Kari matter he said that his son was murdered without any justification because of his deceased son was not involved in Karo-Kari matter but he informed that the accused persons had managed dispute with his son on some simple matter which caused the murder of his son.
The dead body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives after conducting the post-mortem examination at Taluka Headquarter (THQ) Garhi Yaseen Hospital.
