ISLAMABAD: section 144 has been imposed in the federal capital and a notification has been issued in this regard.
According to the administration, section 144 was imposed due to security concerns and prohibits the gathering of five or more individuals, carrying weapons and pillion riding.
The decision to impose section 144 comes ahead of the proposed marches of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT).
