SC forms 5-member larger bench to hear Karsaz incident case

ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan on Saturday has formed an five-member larger bench over Karsaz incident which left 180 dead while 500 injured.
As per details, the five-member will be headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Anwar Zaheer Jamal, who will start hearing the case from February 8.
It is pertinent to mention here that, on 18 October 2007 on the arrival of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.
The bombing occurred two months before she was assassinated. The bombing resulted in at least 180 deaths and 500 injuries. Most of the dead were members of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
